The folded optics of shaft guide method is adopted to secure the toughness of the lens unit. Passing the Leica's stringent standards, this lens delivers exceptional optical performance to the edges. Plus, an anti-fog glass for the lens cover prevents it from being fogged with steam.

The 16.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor boasts high-speed signal output and high-sensitivity image recording for making many advanced features possible. It also allows shooting images up to ISO3200 in full resolution.
