The Surf & Watersports Edition is perfect for you if the camera is to be mounted on a kite or surfboard or directly on the helmet. Packaging this edition took the requirements of watersports enthusiasts into consideration, who show off their skills in and on the water. Focus is on robust mounts and brackets for surfboards, helmet and camera protection from perishing. The included protective casing is waterproof up to 60m. Optimum fields of application are windsurfing, surfing, kiting, wakeboarding, diving, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, sailing, parasailing and many other exciting sports activities. Particularly worth mentioning are the special accessories surfboard mount and swim pad.
They ensure safe adjustment and, in a worst case scenario during cool stunts and underwater recordings, the swim pad saves the action camera from perishing. Once mounted and aligned you can shoot brilliant images and spectacular perspectives in, on and above the water!
The set consists of 2 surfboard holders. With the high-quality 3M adhesive pad the holder can be attached to a surfboard, wakeboard, kite board, water-ski, canoe or a hull. The surfboard holders themselves can be secured by a second smaller adhesive pad.
The swim pad is attached at the rear of the waterproof protective casing with the supplied 3M special adhesive tape. This lets the BeastVision HD float on the surface and keeps it from perishing. Thanks to is orange signal color the swim pad can clearly be seen from a great distance.
