With it's fixed focus lens, there is no need to worry about focusing but make sure to have the subject no closer than 1.5 m. With 1/100 mechanical shutter make sure to use flash when shooting indoor or under the shade. This camera also comes with red-eye reduction, auto rewinding capability to ease the photo shooting process.
